Reading

We tend to talk about religion with "grown-up" terminology that young people don't easily comprehend. This creates questions in their minds that they might voice (allowing us to answer/teach), but sometimes they don't voice at all.

In the latter case, we don't realize the children have these questions so we don't elaborate; they don't learn; they get an unfortunate and inaccurate mental picture of God; and they sometimes turn away from spiritual things because they "can't understand what the adults are talking about".

This book, "I Have a Question", answers many of the questions children have, endeavoring to paint a more accurate, attractive picture of our Lord God in the hope and prayer that the reader will fall head-over-heels in love with God.

Bringing the Bible to Life

The Bible is under attack today, negatively impacting our young people's understanding and acceptance of God and His Holy Word. "Genesis, Book of Beginnings for Young People ", provides verse-by-verse attention to the firsts in the Bible book of Genesis with: ~ Notation on each first (baby, farmer, city, etc.) ~ How verses relate to us today so the reader can better understand scripture ~ Definitions of unfamiliar words to the young person but helpful in more fully understanding scripture.

The reader will come to know basic Bible facts:

~ God created and loves this world and us ~ Man sinned, but God didn't throw him away ~ God desires to have all people saved ~ God is constantly working to accomplish that salvation

This book is designed to give the young person a strong foundation in scripture. Understanding the first book of the Bible more completely is essential for the child to better understand the rest of the Bible.

Greater understanding of this crucial first book of the Bible can aid in getting the rest of the Bible correct. ~Dr. Amilcar "AJ" Groschel,
